Summary of The Kings of Clonmel
With Morgorath gone and peace treaties with several different countries, life in Araluen has never been better.
It is because of this, that Crowley and King Duncan have decided to start a Special Task Group.
The Special Task Group could easily be dispatched if any problems arise internationally or otherwise.
They want Halt, Will and Horace to be in it.
At the Great Gathering Crowley asks Will to be a part of the Special Task Group.
Will agrees and is happy to be moving back to Redmont.
But before he can get settled in, danger arises.
The Outsiders have returned. They have taken over five of the Hibernian Kingdoms.
Only one remains and it is starting to crumble. From there, they will invade Araluen.
Halt, Will, and Horace head off to Clonmel, the last remaining kingdom, to stop the Outsiders.
When they get there they discover it is far worse than they had imagined.
The people, terrified of being raided by the bandits, have set up barricades on their farms and around their towns.
Everywhere they go, they find suspicion and fear.
It is up to them to free the people of Clonmel to destroy the choking fear and terror that surrounds this land.
But how can three men fight against an entire cult?
Find out in this exciting adventure, The Kings of Clonmel.
What I liked about The Kings of Clonmel
I liked The Kings of Clonmel because it had a surprise in it.
I also like the duel with Horace against Killeen who is an Outsider.
I like how Halt, Horace, and Will bounce off of each other with their jokes and teasing.
John Flanagan has really mastered that in his books. He writes stuff that will make you laugh.
I like how this series has a nice balance of action, adventure, and humor.
