Ranger’s Apprentice – Book Four – Review

May 24, 2019 by Jazzy

In The Icebound Land, Evalyn, with the help of Erak, escaped with Will to a cabin in the woods.

Now their story continues in this epic book, The Battle for Skandia.

In an amazing turn of events, Will and Evalyn are once again reunited with Halt and Horace.

But while they are overjoyed at being reunited, trouble is brewing.

The Temujai are planning to raid Skandia and from there, Araluen.

With thousands of fighting men at their disposal, the Temujai are a force to be reckoned with. Skandia doesn’t stand a chance against the Temujai.

They need someone who knows how to fight the Temujai, someone who knows their weaknesses.

Only one man in all of Skandia could possibly know all of that. Only one man could have the cleverness and skill to help them……..Halt.

Halt agrees to help them knowing that the Temujai plan to hit Araluen next if Skandia falls.

Halt, Will, Horace, and Evalyn work with Erak and Ragnak, the Oberjarl* of Skandia, to fend off the Temujai and to save Skandia.

I like The Battle for Skandia because it has adventure and excitement.

I am a huge fan of books with vikings, humor, and awesome hero warriors.

*An Oberjarl is the chief, in this case Ragnak is the chief of all of Skandia
